I wonder if this clock is what I need to finally conquer my snooze addiction. I literally can’t remember the last time I woke up in fewer than three snooze cycles, and double digits are not unheard of. I’ve tried putting the clock on the other side of the room. This didn’t help as I would just get out of bed, hit snooze, and get back in bed - no reduction in snooze usage. I’ve tried using an alarm without snooze functionality. Also no help, as I would just go through the trouble of turning the alarm off, setting it forward ten or fifteen (or thirty) minutes, and going back to sleep. I’ve also gone to the extreme of combining these two approaches: using my computer as an alarm clock, in a different room, to loudly play music. I’d just get up, set it forward, and crash on the couch.
What does it take to break snooze addiction? Should I drop the ideal of getting up before I actually need to? It certainly doesn’t help that my bed is significantly more comfortable than it’s ever been.
Here’s another candidate that works with a similar principle:

This isn’t a cold turkey approach to waning you off snooze but if you can adjust its retraction rate it could help wane you off the junk!
