Amy took a spill on her rollerblads the other day. Just went flying off the path into the brush around a sharp turn. She’s new to the sport. Anyway, I was mortified until she said he was fine. Then I laughed my ass off.

Good for you for waiting until you knew she was fine. Dylan also learned to do that and it has served him well.

Such as the time we went hiking/camping in Montana and I slipped and fell into a small stream and ended up on my back - turtle style as I had my backpack on. He smartly helped me up instead of reaching for the camera. Although he did admit later that it was a tough decision to make!

I’m sure I would have grabbed the camera. Wouldn’t you rather have the picture of that? That lasts forever. His help only lasted for a fleeting moment.
