Many of you mentioned that you really enjoyed the performances at our wedding by the incomparable Kevin Taylor. I know I did. While Kevin is frequently on the road performing with his highly entertaining a capella group, Marcoux Corner, he also does quite a bit of his own solo work.

I’ve seen several of his live shows, and I highly recommend them. There are two coming up soon. One is a solo acoustic set at Acadia Cafe, right near our place, on Monday, January 15. Acadia is a great little room for a concert with lots of tasty beers to choose from. I’m especially excited about the next show, where he’ll be performing with a full band at the Varsity Theater in Dinkytown on Monday, January 29. The Varsity is an old movie theater that was recently renovated and turned in to a venue for music acts, and supposedly very cool.

Both shows start at 8:00. I’m certain you have nothing better to do on a winter Monday night.
