Life is hard. Big thanks to Kamp & Fisher for dragging me out on a Friday afternoon.
A heartfelt and tearful congratulations go out to my oldest friend as he finally sealed the deal with his beautiful, charming, and brilliant fiancée, Katie. The two were united at Saint Cecilia’s in Saint Paul, and the gorgeous reception was held at D’Amico’s Metropolitan ballroom. The lovely couple should be back from their honeymoon any day now, and I’m a slacker for not having posted this or these photos before their return.
I can’t remember the last time I had so much fun, and I’m sure I hadn’t been that emotional since my own engagement in September. It’s been quite a year.
And to top it off, I always know that Chest and Brock always have my back.
Nevermind that he isn’t getting married for six months… We had J’s bachelor party this weekend. A better time couldn’t have been had. Paintball at Crossfire in Saint Cloud was excellent fun - I highly recommend their facilties and services. Talked, laughed, smoked, ate, folded, raised, and raked, all at the beautiful cabin of his future in-laws; many thanks to them!
But why did we watch Predator?
And how tall is Arnold anyway?
Some questions will have to be answered later; we’re rolling home as I type.
Yesterday, while over at Ryan’s watching the Vikings meet everyone’s expectations, I taught Nina a new trick! She was sitting on her father’s lap and grinning at me. So I started sticking my tongue out at her, and to my amazement, she did it right back! Ryan said she had never stuck her tongue out before. Later, while alone with Jess, Nina was doing it again on her own! I couldn’t have been more proud. Next, the finger. This has to be more fun that having my own children!
It’s no surprise that Ryan dresses his first born as an Ewok, especially after you’ve heard his uncanny Chewbacca yowl. Normally, I would find this nauseating, but Nina is genuinely cute the cutest ever (sorry Ry).
Congratulations to Ryan and Jessica Kessler, who yesterday welcomed their
brand new baby daughter Nina into the world. More pictures to come I’m sure.
Congratulations to my good friends Anthony and Keely. Their beautiful baby boy Kieran was born yesterday morning and weighs in at 7 lbs, 12 oz.
I’ve been meaning to post this for a while…
Congratulations to Patrick! On November 29, 2003, he met my challenge of eating one dozen Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts in less than thirty minutes. The new time to beat: 21 minutes, 45 seconds. He certainly earned his five dollars.
